Jack also provides advisory services to senior executives on business and marketing strategy and sales force effectiveness. From time to time he accepts line management assignments from his clients including serving as President and CEO of the renewable energy company Alternity Wind Power, LLC.
Early experience at Procter & Gamble and General Mills enabled Jack to gain a keen understanding of marketing, sales, new product development and new business commercialization. Later he turned around and profitably grew operating units at Cross Pen, Nashua, Beiersdorf and Rustoleum.
Jack earned his BA in Economics from Princeton and served in the U.S. Navy as both a Naval Aviator and Assistant Professor of Naval Science. Following military service he attended Harvard Business School where he earned an MBA with Honors. He has offices in Williamsburg VA and Westport CT.
Stephanie Gelman co-founded Gelman & Associates and directs the firm's New Products Development and Business Regeneration Practice. She is a creative problem solver who partners with clients to identify and leverage their brands' unique strengths for go-to-market opportunities.
Stephanie has a track record of detecting new business trends early. She translates these trends into high impact new products for consumers. Recognized as an innovative new products and new business marketer, Stephanie employs an ingenious approach and proprietary toolkit to analyze complex issues and to address business challenges. This has led to breakthrough results which have stood the test of time.
Corporate experience with multi-functional management responsibilities at Procter & Gamble, Kraft and Gillette give Stephanie a distinctive consulting point of view. Her unique 360° "arts & science" approach reflects experience as a marketer, new product developer, research manager, sales executive and scientist. She brings this diverse experience and her intuitive skills as critical components for developing new products successes.
Perhaps most notable among Stephanie's many business accomplishments is the re-positioning and turn-around she accomplished for Kraft while charged with running its $600 million Natural Cheese business.
In addition to undertaking traditional consulting assignments, Stephanie has also served in an Interim Chief Marketing Officer capacity for the Armorall Products Corporation. She owns two Procter & Gamble patents.
Stephanie earned her BS in Chemistry from The University of Virginia at Mary Washington College and studied medicinal chemistry while doing cancer research at the graduate level. Before entering the business world she taught science courses for the Department of Defense on Okinawa. Stephanie has offices in Williamsburg VA.
